About the editor

​Mir Sayed Shah Danish, Ph.D., is Designated Assistant Professor with the Funded Research Division at the Institute of Materials and Systems for Sustainability (IMaSS), Nagoya University, Japan. Before that he was an Assistant Professor in the field of energy engineering at the University of the Ryukyus, Nishihara, Japan. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Kabul University, an M.Sc. in energy and electrical engineering from the University of the Ryukyus, and an MBA from the National Institute of Business Management, India in 2009, 2015, and 2016, respectively. Dr. Danish received his Ph.D. in sustainable energy in 2018 from the University of the Ryukyus. His research interests are in the areas of sustainable energy, energy strategy, energy economics, strategic management, and sustainable development. He is the co-editor of the book Sustainability Outreach in Develo** Countries (Springer, 2021), a chartered engineer in the UK (CEng.), a senior member of the IEEE, a member of The IET (MIET), and holds membership in many other academic societies.
