It is proposed to modify the bearing assembly and couplings of a turbine unit to ensure its compliance with the modern efficiency, flexibility, reliability, and maintainability requirements. The results of vibration design of the shaft line with bearing assemblies combined with rotor couplings are presented. The advantages and disadvantages of this design solution are considered. It is concluded that it is possible to use this solution in new turbines.
