Jenny Schneider received her PhD in Chemistry 2016 at the Leibniz Universität Hannover under supervision of Prof. Detlef Bahnemann. Her PhD thesis was awarded by Science Price Hannover. After a parental leave she joined as a PostDoc the group of Prof. Gerald Meyer at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA. 2020 Jenny moved to Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, where she is currently building her own research group at the Chair of Prof. Thomas Bein. She focuses on the elucidation of the fundamental steps involved into the solar to chemical energy conversion systems by means of time-resolved spectroscopic techniques.
Jonathan Z. Bloh studied Life Science and later obtained his Ph.D. in Technical Chemistry in 2012 at the Leibniz University Hannover, Germany under the supervision of Prof. Detlef Bahnemann. Thereafter he spent one and a half years as a postdoc at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. In 2014 he moved to the DECHEMA Research Institute in Frankfurt am Main, Germany where he is currently leading the Chemical Technology Department. In 2021 he also obtained his habilitation in Technical Chemistry at the Leibniz University Hannover. His research covers photocatalysis, electrochemistry, reaction engineering and chemo-enzymatic hybrid processes.
Antonio Otávio T. Patrocinio received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Universidade de São Paulo (2009). In 2011 he moved to the Institute of Chemistry of Universidade Federal de Uberlandia where he is currently Associate Professor. In 2012, he was honoured by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with the Green Talents Award. Between 2016 and 2018 he visited the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover as a Alexander von Humboldt research fellow. His research focuses on nanostructured metal oxides and coordination compounds for solar energy conversion into fuels.
