Abstract

Sugarcane is an important crop in both tropical and subtropical regions of the world and a major export product of many develo** countries. It is important not only for sugar production but as a raw material for paper, alcohol, plywood, industrial enzymes, and animal feed. Furthermore, it is an important source of renewable energy and it will become an essential source of electricity.
