Zusammenfassung
Ziel des Beitrages ist es, im Sinne einer sozialstrukturellen Ungleichheitsperspektive auf Work-Life-Conflicts (WLC), übergreifende Strukturen sozialer Ungleichheit von Ressourcen und Opportunitäten offen zu legen, die sich durch die Wechselbeziehungen der gesellschaftlichen Sphären von Erwerbsarbeit und Privatleben generieren, reproduzieren oder verändern. Dabei adressieren wir Ungleichheitsstrukturen in Lebenschancen als ungleiche Teilhabechancen in den Lebensbereichen und ihre wechselseitige Abhängigkeit. Darauf aufbauend wird erstens der Frage nachgegangen, wie gesellschaftliche, betriebliche, berufliche und familiäre Rahmenbedingungen Wahrnehmungen von WLC strukturieren, in denen aufgewendete Zeit und Energie in einem Lebensbereich die Teilhabe in dem jeweils anderen Lebensbereich einschränken. Zweitens geht es um die Frage, inwiefern der Umgang von Personen mit (potenziellen) WLC selbst sozial strukturierende Einflüsse entfaltet, die entweder bestehende soziale Strukturen reproduzieren, verstärken oder wandeln.
