Abstract
The microscopic description of the π nucleus scattering is generalized to study the (p, π) reactions. The differential cross section of the 3He(p, π+)4He at T1ab p = 415 Mev is calculated by this method. The shape of the theoretical angular distribution coincides with the experimental data, but the absolute value is larger than the experimental value by a factor 2.
