About the editors

Nitin Dhote pursued his graduation in Electrical Engineering from VNIT, Nagpur, India. He pursued his postgraduation degree in Electrical Power System from Government College of Engineering, Amravati, and a Diploma in Business Management and Ph.D. from RTM, Nagpur University, India. He is currently working as a Professor & Head in the Electrical Engineering Department at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur. He has a total teaching experience of 23 years at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His areas of interest are renewable energy sources, electric vehicles, power electronics and drives, power system protection, automation and control, etc. He published 34 research papers in reputed international conferences and journals.


Mohan Kolhe is a full professor at the University of Agder, Norway in electrical power engineering with a focus on the smart grid and renewable energy in the Faculty of Engineering and Science. He has also received the offer of a full professorship in the smart grid from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has more than 25 years of the academic experience at the international level in electrical and renewable energy systems. He is a leading renewable energy technologist and has previously held academic positions at the world's prestigious universities. His academic work ranges from the smart grid, grid integration of renewable energy systems, home energy management systems, integrated renewable energy systems for hydrogen production, techno-economic energy systems, solar and wind energy engineering, and development of business models for distributed generation, etc. He also did extensive teaching in renewable and electrical energy systems engineering as well as in energy economics.


Minhaj Ahemad A. Rehman is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, India. He graduated in mechanical engineering and completed his Ph.D. from Nagpur University in 2013 in the area of green manufacturing for sustainable development. He had more than 20 years of teaching experience at postgraduate, undergraduate and diploma levels. His area of interest is green manufacturing, green supply chain management, lean and production engineering, etc. He had contributed around 40 research papers at the national/international level to various journals, seminars and conferences. He is a life member of various professional bodies like the Institute of Engineers India (IEI), Indian society for technical education (I.S.T.E), Institute for supply management Tempe, AZ, USA, and a senior member International Engineering and Technology Institute.
