Abstract
Intestinal intussusception is the invagination of the intestine along with its mesentery into itself or to the immediately adjoining segment causing obstruction. It is usually observed in children, but not common in adults. However, its incidence is declared in adults frequently and usually reported cases are in the ileal parts small intestine than otherwise. The abdominal cavity of an embalmed cadaver prepared for the purpose of teaching second year medical students was dissected. At the time of dissection, male cadaver aged 75 years was found to present ileoileal intussusception. I tried to pull out the intussusceped segment of the intestine; unfortunately, it was not possible. It may presumably indicate chronic intussusception, which could be one of the possible causes of his death.
