Abstract
Pt loaded on a series of MIL-53(Al) metal−organic framework, FDU˗12 mesoporous silica and FDU˗12 composites with HZSM-5 zeolite and TiO2 has been prepared and used for the catalytic isomerization of n-heptane at 200-350 °C. To study the catalyst characterizations, the various methods were performed. These new catalysts have high conversion and selectivity to isomerized products (i-C7). The best i-C7 selectivity (65.4%) was observed for Pt/MIL-53(Al) at T=200 °C. These catalysts have a low selectivity to undesired products such as aromatic and cracking products.
