Abstract
Questo capitolo è dedicato ai modelli per lo studio delle code nelle infrastrutture stradali. Si tratta di modelli probabilistici per lo stato stazionario, delle procedure deterministiche in fase di congestione e delle soluzioni euristiche per stati stazionari e non stazionari. Questi modelli sono direttamente applicabili a casi concreti riguardanti gli elementi delle strade a flusso interrotto (intersezioni stradali, rampe, zone di scambio, caselli autostradali, ecc.).
