Abstract
The heat capacities and volumes for binary mixtures of benzonitrile with cyclohexane were determined at 10, 25, and 45°C. The dependence of the molar excess heat capacities on temperature and composition are interpreted in terms of the thermal relaxation of associated benzonitrile molecules into monomeric species.
