Entanglement beating in free space through spin–orbit coupling

It is well known that the entanglement of a quantum state is invariant under local unitary transformations. This rule dictates, for example, that the entanglement of internal degrees of freedom of a photon rem...

Highly reduced iron-doped lithium niobate for optoelectronic tweezers

We investigate the applicability of highly reduced lithium niobate samples doped with iron for the use as optoelectronic tweezers. Increasing the reduction degree of Fe-doped lithium niobate is well known to i...

    Observation of Dipole-Mode Vector Solitons

We report on the experimental observation of two-dimensional dipole-mode vector solitons. We demonstrate a decay of an unstable vortex-mode soliton into a robust dipole-mode soliton in a SBN crystal.
