Introduction

Ethical decision-making has been thoroughly studied in the scope of business ethics with the well-intentioned aim of modeling the processes through which agents make moral decisions. According to Bartels, who first presented an ethical decision-making model: “a model represents an attempt to explain the nature and behavior of some phenomenon, to show causes and effects in related variable” (Bartels 1967: 21).
