Definition

“Antisocial behaviors” describes aggressive and defiant behaviors that violate the rights of others. These behaviors include aggressive or violent actions that cause harm to people or animals, disruptive displays of hostility/anger, and intentional acts of abuse such as bullying. Antisocial behaviors can be motivated by a disregard for the rights and well-being of others. Antisocial behaviors can also include illegal or criminal behaviors such as vandalism, theft, arson, illegal substance use/abuse, harassment, threatening violence, cybercrime, physical assault, and sexual assault/violence.
