Definition
Intimate Partner Violence is the behavior between past or current intimate partners which includes stalking, psychological aggression, physical violence, and sexual violence. Intimate Partner Homicide Suicide is a sector of physical violence within Intimate Partner Violence in which there is an intentional killing of a previous or current romantic partner by a perpetrator, who then commits suicide shortly after. Other terms may include intimate partner murder suicide, dyadic death, femicide, and familicide.
