Abstract
A method to calculate the meniscus shape around an inclusion on the steel–slag interface is presented. The meniscus shape is related to the properties of steel and slag and the size of the inclusion. The large-size inclusions have a large suspension depth and interaction range. At the small-size range of inclusions, the suspension depth increases slowly with the size, while the interaction range is sensitive to the size.
