Résumé

Les auteurs décrivent un aspect histologique particulier de gastrite chronique caractérisé par une importante augmentation du nombre de lymphocytes intraépithéliaux. Ils suggèrent une éventuelle relation entre cette image microscopique et les lésions aphtoïdes telles qu’on les rencontre dans la gastrite varioliforme.

Summary

The authors describe a peculiar histological presentation of chronic gastritis in which they found an important increase of the intraepithelial lymphocytes. They suggest a possible relation between this microscopical picture and some gastric aphtoid lesion as those reported in varioliform gastritis.
