Abstract

Leg ulcers were not a part of the syndrome characterized by “gynecomastia, a-spermatogenesis without a-leydigism, and increased excretion of follicle-stimulating hormone” described by Klinefelter, Reifenstein, and Albright in 1942. None of their original nine cases showed any sign of vascular disease on the lower leg. In addition, when Zup**er et al. (1967) reexamined five of these patients 25 years later, they found these particular cases to be free of varicose veins and ulcers.
