Abstract

Haemaphysalis parva is a three-host exophilic tick. Adults infest large and medium sized wild and domestic animals and immatures feed on wide range of medium and small sized wild mammals (hedgehogs, hares, rodents, and carnivores), ground-feeding birds and reptiles.
