I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Yamada, for extending an invitation to the Malaysian Society of Toxicology to contribute to Genes and Environment. As a guest editor, it is truly an honour to be given the opportunity to showcase our findings, share our methodologies, and contribute to the wider scientific community. The chance to be part of this collection is not only a recognition of our efforts but also provides an opportunity to foster meaningful networks and collaborations within the global scientific community.
I sincerely hope that the findings and perspectives shared in this collection will stimulate further inquiry and discussion. I trust that this special issue will prove beneficial to everyone invested in the realms of genes, environment, and toxicology.
