Dental health is much important for the human beings, however, various dental diseases always happen, including periodontal infections, endodontic diseases, maxillofacial trauma, oral squamous cell carcinoma and so on. To conquer these problems, advanced dental materials are inevitable and play great important roles to realize the resoration or reconstruction of dental functions. In this topical collection, the state-of-art review and cutting edge research of materials to treat dental diseases will be introduced. The topics may be related with adhesives and filling materials in dental treatment, materials used for dental restoration, materials for bone regeneration and tissue engineering, antibacterials materials and so on.

Now, he works at Nanchang University, and his research interests focus on dental materials, bone tissue engineering, drug delivery and Chiral nanoparticles.
