Abstract

With the development of the national economy, residents’ purchasing power continues to increase, and people's demand for various colorful metal packaging is increasing year by year. UV ink has been favored by people for its instant drying, high efficiency, low cost, environment-friendly and many other advantages. However, in actual production, some printing plants are subjected to many restrictions and using a varnishing machine that is not in the same workshop as the printing press for offline varnishing. This causes friction in the process of stacking and handling, and ink loss occurs. Through theoretical analysis and practical production experience, this paper designs the experimental UV ink formula, selects polyester acrylate, aliphatic polyurethane diacrylate and hyperbranched urethane acrylate as prepolymers in the formula, and changes the amount of polyester acrylate and aliphatic polyurethane diacrylate in yellow, magenta, cyan and black inks according to the proportion of 5% of the overall formula, and according to the respective characteristics of the four-color ink. A certain amount of hyperbranched urethane acrylate is added separately to speed up the reaction rate of the UV curing system. Through the adhesion test of the printing sample, the optimal color sample of the four-color ink is selected, so as to optimize the UV ink formula and explore and solve the problems in the production of the printing plant.
