Abstract

A new power calculation method based on instantaneous power theory is proposed for the special working conditions of the main circuit topology and sensor acquisition position of the auxiliary converter of the high-speed train unit. It can calculate the instantaneous active power and instantaneous reactive power output of the auxiliary converter in real-time. The power calculation method used is simple in calculation, does not require complex calculations, and does not require lag processing on sampling points, resulting in high real-time performance. The positive and negative sequence component extraction technology based on second-order generalized integrator is adopted, and the voltage and current are constructed with orthogonal components while achieving adaptive filtering, which can effectively cope with unbalanced loads. The simulation and experimental results show that this method can accurately calculate instantaneous power and achieve power sharing of parallel auxiliary converters.
