Abstract
With advancement of technology, each field is growing rapidly and becoming automated. Automation in industrial area has led to enhancement of quantity of products as well as made the whole process less time consuming. In industries, at a time, a lot of parameters are controlled for maintaining the appropriate environment in the industry. But till now, many mishaps occur in industry due to loss of readings while monitoring and controlling of various parameters, and this is controlled by the engineers. It is very difficult for a human to continuously monitor the system. In our paper, we have designed a smart plant monitoring system to overcome this problem in which we are taking the readings or values of different parameters on a single server (portal) using Internet of Things (IoT). We have monitored and recorded the values of parameters such as level, temperature, and humidity and if any parameter exceeds its limit, then the system takes the predefined action.
