Abstract
Psychological stress is seen as a crucial factor since it might impair people’s performance when they attempt to complete difficult jobs at all levels. In fact, completing the task successfully interferes with the task’s successful completion when participants are subjected to a higher level of psychological stress that seems unacceptable. One of the most harmful physical and mental reactions at work is stress, which can result from a variety of circumstances. Stress at work may result from increased workload demands and a loss of situational control. In this chapter, a study is carried out to find psychological stress genderwise and jobwise by different types of psychological stress scales like PSS and Holmes and Rahe Stress Scale.
