Abstract
Under the goals of peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality, the trend of decentralization and integration of energy systems is increasingly obvious. Distributed energy has developed rapidly with its characteristics of low carbon, flexibility, safety, intelligence, diversity and proximity to demand side, among which gas distributed energy is an important manifestation of distributed energy. As a clean and low-carbon fossil energy, natural gas is not only a realistic choice to realize the low-carbon transformation of energy structure, but also an important support for the large-scale development of renewable energy and the safety and stability of new power systems. Meanwhile, with the development of new gas such as renewable gas and hydrogen, the connotation and extension of gas distributed energy have also been enriched and expanded, which will play an important role in promoting the low-carbon transformation of energy, building new power systems and building modern energy systems. Based on a large number of statistical data, this paper analyzes the development of gas distributed energy, including policy environment, gas source guarantee, technical standards and key equipment, analyzes the opportunities and challenges in the development of gas distributed energy aiming at peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality, looks forward to the development prospect of gas distributed energy, and puts forward some suggestions on industry development and government policies.
