Abstract

In the past few years, other than traditional security requirements, privacy and anonymity are also getting increased importance. For example, in case of the online electronic signature service, eSign, an eSigner may want to hide his/her identity and may want to sign a document anonymously. At present, though eSign maintains traditional security requirements such as confidentiality, integrity and non-repudiation anonymity of the eSigner is yet to be realized. This paper proposes an anonymous eSign scheme based on group signatures to achieve anonymity and conditional privacy. Security and performance analysis of the scheme presents that the scheme is secure and efficient.
