Abstract
This chapter will discuss rare spinal disorders which have characteristic imaging findings and mainly involve spinal cord or nerve roots. These include idiopathic spinal cord herniation, Hirayama disease, subacute combined degeneration, radiation myelitis, spinal visceral larva migrans of Toxocara canis, conjoined nerve root, Guillain–Barré syndrome, hereditary motor and sensory neuropathies, surfer’s myelopathy, and Wallerian degeneration of the spinal cord.
