Abstract
A profound symbiotic relationship exists between the skin and its microbial inhabitants, integral for human survival. Perturbations in this delicate equilibrium can lead to dysbiosis, precipitating various skin ailments. Recognizing the therapeutic potential of synbiotics, this chapter delves into their role in preventing and treating a spectrum of skin disorders, including atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, photoaging, and wound healing. Several studies suggest a promising response and synbiotics may be considered as a single or a combinational therapy for the better outcome in the prevention and treatment of skin disorders. Through a comprehensive exploration of cutting-edge advancements, this chapter elucidates the profound impact of synbiotics in resha** dermatological care paradigms.
