Abstract
Intraosseous malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (IMPNST) is a malignant tumor of bone arising from peripheral nerve sheath cells. It usually develops secondarily by malignant transformation in pre-existing neurofibromas, schwannomas, or following radiation therapy. However, IMPNST can extraordinarily occur primarily from the nerves within the bone.
