Abstract
On the basis of summarizing the model features, machine construction and structural form, and application scope of screw ship unloaders, this chapter analyzes the structural characteristics of the reverse rotary reclaiming device and vertical arm screw conveyor and the reclaiming conveyor mechanism; clarifies the principles and methods for determining the overall main parameters of screw ship unloaders; proposes the calculation methods for the conveying capacity, reclaiming conveying resistance, and driving power of the reclaiming device and vertical arm screw conveyor; briefly introduces the operating, controlling, and safety protecting devices of screw ship unloaders; and lists the main performance parameters and relevant standards of typical screw ship unloaders.
