Ore particle size is the measurement of an ore particle size, which indicates the degree of material comminution in millimeter or micron.

Average Diameter of a Singe Ore Particle

For a single ore particle, the ore particle size is the size of a particle. If the shape of particle is regular, it is indicated with its feature size, for example, the particle size of a spherical particle is indicated with its diameter, and the particle size of a cubic particle is indicated with its side length. If the particle shape is irregular, it is necessary to determine the length, width, and thickness of a single particle in three vertical directions, and express its diameter with the average value. The diameter of a certain sphere having the same behavior as an ore particle can also be the equivalent diameter of this particle.
