Abstract
A protocol for BharataNAtyam (BN), an Indian classical dance, has been visualized by four brothers known as the Thanjavur quartet, under the guidance of Muthuswami Dixitar, an eighteenth century musician. It is based upon the Sri Chakra dance, a certain dance that is offered as a worship to a god or a goddess. The challenge in performing it is due to the complexity of the design that serves a theme as well as a floor map for the dance. A system has been discussed here that automatically generates such a floor map and equips dance professionals with the annotations and clues for choreography, mostly regarding on-stage-transitions. An analytical proof for the existence of the expected map** is provided, along with an illustration.
