Abstract
Up to now, the robustness of RC frames against progressive collapse has been studied extensively. Several definitions of technology application robustness can be found in the literature related to various research and technology areas, such as structural and software engineering, product development and quality control, ecosystems, design optimization, Bayesian decision making, and linguistics. For example, control theory defines robustness as the degree to which a system is insensitive to influences not considered in the design. Similarly, statistical techniques with robust statistical assumptions are not sensitive to small deviations in the assumptions.
