Abstract

In the Permian of the Junggar Basin, there is a set of sandy conglomerates with mixed deposits of volcaniclastic, sandy and argillaceous rocks. The rock mineral composition is variable, and the mineral composition of volcanic, tuffaceous and laumontite has a severe impact on the density, neutron, sonic and resistivity curves. It will Cause difficulties in identifying gas and wet layers, and inaccurate interpretation of porosity and water saturation. This article is based on experimental data such as core mineralogy and thin section identification in the Dixi 241 well area, and uses optimization algorithms to establish a multi-mineral calculation model, for the complete logging review interpretation. It provides a robust solution for the in-depth evaluation of mineralogy of sandy conglomerate reservoirs.
