Abstract
This chapter focuses on the first type of migration intentions—hukou transfer intentions, signifying the willingness of transferring hukou to the destination areas when the local conditions of obtaining hukou are met. It investigates the hukou transfer intentions at the provincial level, the city level, and the individual level, respectively.
