Abstract
On June 28, 2017, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce jointly issued the Catalogue for the Guidance of Foreign Investment Industries (2017 Revision) (Order No. 4 [2017], hereinafter referred to as the “Catalogue (2017 Revision)”) which came into force on July 28, 2017. On the same day, the Catalogue for the Guidance of Foreign Investment Industries (2015 Revision) (hereinafter referred to as the “Catalogue (2015 Revision)”) was repealed. This article briefly analyzes the major changes and special points for attention in relation to this revision.
