Abstract

Generally, the proved undeveloped reserves are not effectively developed for a long time due to the complex geological conditions, difficult development technology and poor economic benefits. With the continuous progress of technology and management, these reserves are becoming the most realistic resources in the oilfield. Because of the large number of evaluation blocks and many parameters, the workload and calculation complexity of optimal production capacity construction target of proved undeveloped reserves are large. Therefore, on the basis of the conventional method, the evaluation indexes are optimized, and the method of the standardization of the cumulative proportion of the indicators is proposed in view of the deficiency of the min-max index standardization method, and the rapid comprehensive evaluation method of 6 indexes is established. The results of evaluation on more than 1000 blocks show that the differentiation of standardized value of evaluation index has been greatly improved, and the evaluation workload has decreased greatly, and the evaluation results are basically consistent with the understanding of oilfield researchers. It provides a simple and quick method for selecting the target blocks from proved undeveloped reserves.
