Abstract

In the twenty-first century, with global warming and climate change, solar cooling is becoming a compelling need with increasing global warming. In this chapter, we describe solar-powered air-conditioning systems. Solar cooling technologies in industry are highlighted. There exists vast potential for adoption in domestic refrigeration, industrial refrigeration in pharma industry, and cold storage with deep freezing for preservation of agro-products.
