Abstract
In April 1968, Italian economist Aurelio Peccei gathered in Rome 30 scientists, economists, writers, educators and entrepreneurs from 10 countries to discuss the problems and dilemmas facing mankind in the future. And this meeting led to the establishment of The Club of Rome.
