Abstract

This paper analyzes the advantages of multi-body aircraft as an aerial unmanned combat platform, including three points: modular combination ability, spanwise deformation degree of freedom, and increasement in range and duration. In view of this principle, the verification scheme is designed, including theoretical derivation of aircraft motion equation, numerical simulation calculation, and the motion characteristics of this kind of aircraft are obtained. Finally, the principle verification aircraft is designed for flight, which verifies the improvement of flight motion and aerodynamic performance, and points out the problems that may exist in the process of landing.
