Online Safety, Citizenship, and Well-Being of Students

With a growing number of young people using digital technology and online platforms in their learning both at school and outside, often with increasing autonomy, the learning landscape is changing. Where once teachers held more centralized control over learning tools, processes, and sources of information, today, there are new and evolving ways for students to access information, connect, and collaborate with others using digital technology and online environments. Consequently, a range of new challenges has emerged that can impact on the safety and well-being of individual students, groups, teachers, and/or community.
