Over the past 70 years since the liberation, the Republic of Korea has made efforts to expand primary and secondary education for its people. In the process of expanding primary and secondary education since the establishment of the Republic of Korea, Korea has experienced various challenges and conflicts, accomplishments and tasks in educational development and educational policy implementation.
