Zusammenfassung
In welche übergreifenden Themen sind Risiko- und Katastrophenforschung sowie Resilienz eingebettet, und was sind die aktuell prägenden Richtungen? In diesem Kapitel werden übergreifende Rahmenthemen exemplarisch aufgearbeitet, insbesondere das Thema „Sicherheit“ mit den verschiedenen Facetten menschlicher Sicherheit. Nachhaltigkeit ist ein ebenso umfassender Begriff, zu dem die Risiko- und Katastrophenforschung starke Verbindungen hat, die jedoch in Forschung und Praxis noch zu wenig systematisch aufgegriffen werden. Resilienz ist ein umfassendes Rahmenthema, das dieses Buch auch durch seine Aktualität stark prägt. Die Themen Transformation, Nachhaltigkeit und Sicherheit, werden anhand von verschiedenen wissenschaftlichen Rahmenwerken erstmalig auf Deutsch übersetzt und differenziert dargestellt. Der Bereich humanitäre Hilfe und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit ist ein großes Praxisfeld, für das auch bestimmte Forschungsrichtungen typisch sist und das bestimmte Methoden verwendet. Ein weiteres Themenfeld ist der Bevölkerungsschutz, der auch Katastrophen- und Zivilschutz beinhaltet. Es ist wiederum ein spezielles Thema mit bestimmten Ausrichtungen, was Gefahren, Bearbeitungsrichtungen und Ziele angeht. Das Rettungs- und Risikoingenieurwesen ist schließlich ein recht junger Bereich, der einen speziellen Fokus auf Einsatz und Rettung von Menschenleben hat, aber auch innerhalb der Gefahrenabwehr in planerischen Richtungen neue Impulse anbietet.
