Abstract
The poor solubility of one substance or another can also be used to quantify corresponding analytes. From general and/or physical chemistry you know that the solubility of a substance is described by its solubility product (Ksp) and there are (once again) databases on this subject. (The solubility products of some compounds that appear particularly frequently in analytics can also be taken from Harris.)
