Abstract
Statistics is fun and interesting. Interesting because with statistics we discover correlations and understand how people and also others, e.g. companies, behave. Fun, simply because it is fun to discover things. At the same time, statistics is important. If we can observe and evaluate how people, companies, or other objects behave, then we simply understand many things better. In this chapter we clarify why statistics is interesting and relevant, at the same time we clarify important terms.
