Zusammenfassung

Von den zahlreichen Tumorarten des Gehirns sind in der internistischen Onkologie bei Erwachsenen nur wenige maligne Formen, die allerdings die Mehrzahl der Hirntumoren ausmachen, relevant (s. Tabelle 2). Neben der generellen Vorgehensweise und einigen Stichpunkten zu selteneren Tumoren sollen daher nur die malignen Gliome und die neuerdings häufiger diagnostizierten primär zerebralen Lymphome besprochen werden.
