Zusammenfassung
Die nucleophile aliphatische Substitutions-Reaktion (SN) ist eine der am besten untersuchten Reaktionen der organischen Chemie. Sie ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein nucleophiler Reaktionspartner Nu| einen Substituenten X | (Abgangsgruppe, nucleofuge Gruppe) verdrängt und dabei das für die C—Nu-Bindung erforderliche Elektronenpaar liefert: \(Nu|\; + \;R - \mathop {C{h_2}}\limits^{{\delta ^ + }} - \mathop x\limits^{{\delta ^ - }} \to R - C{H_2} - Nu\; + \;X|\)
