Zusammenfassung
Digitalen Mindsets wird insbesondere im Arbeitskontext ein großes Potenzial hinsichtlich des Umgangs mit digitalen Innovationen zugeschrieben. Dabei wird übersehen, dass Beschäftigte digitalen Medien mit heterogenen Einstellungen gegenüberstehen. Der vorliegende Beitrag betrachtet digitale Mindsets daher aus der Perspektive von Theorien intentionaler Selbstentwicklung. Zunächst werden psychologische Theorien zu Mindsets und verwandte Konzepte eingeführt, um die psychischen Mechanismen und Eigenschaften aufzuzeigen. Dabei wird untersucht, inwiefern Mindsets an der Handlungssteuerung beteiligt sind, aber auch inwiefern diese selbst Gegenstand regulatorischer Prozesse sind. Abschließend werden aus der Perspektive des lebenslangen Lernens Möglichkeiten des Trainierens digitaler Kompetenzen vorgestellt.
