Einführung des Herausgebers
Die Lockdownpolitik und die Leitlinien zur sozialen Distanzierung haben die Umsatzentwicklung vieler Unternehmen und Volkswirtschaften stark beeinträchtigt. In diesem Abschnitt geben wir einen Überblick über Themen wie geschäftliche Veränderungen aufgrund von Covid, Arbeitslosigkeit und Lockdown, Herausforderungen für kleine Unternehmen in Entwicklungsländern, Finanzierung für kleine Unternehmen, Covid und die Wirtschaft, Unternehmertum während einer Pandemie, globale Lieferketten und sozioökonomische Schocks. Dies sind die wichtigsten Probleme, die in vielen Ländern der Welt auftreten. Außerdem sind die Umsätze aufgrund von Reisebeschränkungen, sozialer Distanzierung, Beschränkungen beim Verkauf bestimmter Waren und Kunden, die Budgetkürzungen vornehmen und Projekte auf Eis legen, stark zurückgegangen (Covid-19). Die Unternehmen haben Mühe, die Fixkosten zu decken, da sie aufgrund des starken Umsatzrückgangs keine Einnahmen erzielen.
